It was a fantastic film & I'm so glad you got to see a screening of it! Thanks for asking & I hope we get an answer for you soon. \m/

I totally agree with you. I recently watched Insidious and I couldn't quite figure out why I wasn't really scared by that film. It had a good idea and the actors were great! There was plenty of opportunities to be scared, but it just didn't work. Now I know why! Believe me, I understand. I wish some directors, etc. wouldn't focus so much on CGI effects and try to get back to basics. Think of those simple masks that were worn in Halloween and Friday the 13th. Those dudes scared the crap out of us and all they had on were simple masks! Hollywood definitely needs to get back to basics and really think about what worked before and use that as a jumping off point to try and scare us. And you are right about Dead Silence. That movie was scary! Reply to this

Oooo I saw this on Netflix Instant this past winter. I didn't expect much, but I was intrigued by the horror-western aspect of it and I was really surprised to find out how good this was. Very suspenseful and scary, and yes, the Burrowers were grotesque. The film definitely made me glad I wouldn't be finding myself out in the dark on the prairie any time soon. Reply to this

I agree with you, Alone. is a MUST SEE!!! I can't believe that it was created by someone 14 years of age! It was the best film at the NFFTY film festival in its category. Also - just a couple correcctions: Ethan's first name is spelled Ethan, not Ethen. The correct title of the film is "Alone." with a period at the end. Reply to this
